No. The Felora Flappy Bird uses Auto-Reactive Sensors to flap its wings vigorously when touched, mimicking a grounded bird. However, it features a specialized Flight-Loop on the back. You can attach this to any standard cat wand (not included) to simulate flight and trigger your cat's aerial hunting instincts manually.

Not at all. We engineered the toy with an Intelligent Dormant Mode. The bird remains completely silent and still until your cat touches or swats it. It only chirps and flaps during active play sessions to save battery and maintain peace in your home.

"So there is good news and bad news about this toy… My cat is very picky but she loves her toy and will carry it around as well as hold the toy and kick it! The only “con/problematic issue” (not actually an problem with the product just human error as described below) which I learned this morning at 3:30 AM is that my cat decided to bring this toy and drop it on my face while I was sleeping so we will be utilizing the off setting at night!"
